Guernsey Real Nappy Incentive - £35 Voucher!

Not a safety pin in sight!
Consider using cloth nappies instead of disposable nappies. It’s estimated that over 9,000 nappies a day - 3.25m a year - are thrown away in Guernsey. Modern cloth nappies bear no resemblance to the old-fashioned terry towelling nappies - they’re easy to wash, come in attractive designs, and Velcro and popper fastenings help keep babies dry and snug.
There are lots of different designs, so try before you buy in bulk to make sure the design suits your needs.
The Public Services Department runs an incentive scheme to encourage parents to try real (washable) nappies.  Under this scheme, a £35.00 subsidy voucher is available to new or expectant parents (one voucher per child) and is redeemable following nappy purchase.  For more information on how to apply for a voucher, contact the Department on 717000, or email publicservices@gov.gg.
